Jeneta is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer. In the myriad of ways she expresses herself, she is funny, talented and driven. While she continues to perform all around LA, she also loves giving back to others. She has always wanted to find a way to combine comedy and humanitarian work. Working for Laughter On Call does exactly this. She couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this company and expand her mind and heart.

Lauren White is a voice actor, performer, improvisor and comic from Los Angeles. She has been practicing and teaching Spolin’s improv for six years and helmed her own improv group, a node of the Women’s Center for Creative Work, GiRL CRUSH, for five. She has performs as a comic, storyteller and drag persona with the acclaimed literary performance series SORORITY at the Lyric Hyperion and The Hammer Museum and at venues such as Zebulon, The Fountain Theater, PAM Residencies and Dynasty Typerwriter. You can hear her voice in the forth-coming anime, High Guardian Spice or any of the LEGO films.

Kari Coleman is and actor and improviser in Los Angeles.  Recently you may have seen her as a recurring character on The Good Doctor or guest starring on S.W.A.T. and The Rookie.  She began her career on such shows as In Living Color, Married with Children and Roseanne; played George’s psychotic girlfriend on Seinfeld, and also recurred as the embittered sex-ed teacher, Mrs. Hauser, on Veronica Mars.  She played Helen Stacy opposite Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield in both Amazing Spider-Man movies and appeared in Spoils before Dying with Will Ferrell and Kristin Wiig.  She’s guest starred on such shows as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS-LA and NCIS, as well as starring in Bo Burnham’s MTV series, Zach Stone is Gonna be FamousAs an improviser, she has performed and taught all over the country and abroad, most recently in Oslo, Norway.  Kari is a long-time faculty member and performer with the critically acclaimed improvisational theatre company IMPRO.  She loves to share her experience and knowledge as a teacher and coach, and is thrilled to be a part of the Laughter on Call team!

Sydney Adeniyi is a stand-up comic, actor, and improviser based in LA. He was crowned “Best of the Best” in Chicago, performed at Laugh Your Asheville Off, and competed at LaughFest’s Best of the Midwest. He’s appeared on the TV show Laugh Out Loud St. Louis, Trial by Laughter, and ABC’s Windy City Live. Sydney has also performed for many non-profits including: Big Brothers Big Sisters, CSAAC, and the Epilepsy Foundation. His comedy experiences have taught him how powerful laughter can be. Sydney is thrilled to serve as a Laughter on Call comedian!

Stefanie earned her BFA in theater from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and studied sketch comedy at UCB.  She loves making people laugh – although it isn’t always intentional (like the time when she legitimately slipped on a banana peel).

Angela has been a professional actress/comedian for 20 years. She has a an 8yr old pup named Louise who has taken over her studio apartment. Angela is excited to join the Laughter on Call family. She believes laughter is truly the best medicine to a happy soul.

Anthony Pascale is an actor and comedian out of Philadelphia. He starred in the movies Trust No One & Missouri Loves Company. He is currently performing tv, film and comedy out of Philadelphia and New York City. Anthony is the first comic from our Philadelphia chapter and is currently accepting clients.



Long Beach, CA

Karen Roberts began her performing career in music as the lead singer of the Victory Records signed ska-punk band, Chase Long Beach. From there she started pursuing acting and comedy work. She trained at UCB, Second City. She is a member of the improv and sketch groups Pinup Squirrels and A Fistful of Improv. She also sings in the all girl pop punk band Unicorn Injection and the *69: A Call Back to the 90s. Karen has personal experience with dementia and Alzheimer’s, as both of her grandmothers struggled with it. She has big talent and an even bigger heart that she loves to share with those who need it.

Throughout her career, comedian Stephanie Blum has brought audiences into hysterics with her take-no-prisoners approach to stand up.  As a mother of three and former school psychologist, this street smart Brooklyn native has a strong opinion on just about everything, especially parenting, marriage and her most guilty pleasure, pop-culture. “I got a call from Dani one day and she was describing the organization. It sounded like such an amazing opportunity to use my skill of creating laughter and my background of psychology, an opportunity to touch a person’s life in a positive way. If my mother or father had Alzheimer’s, it would mean the world to me to know there were people supporting me and attempting to make my parents’ quality of life better.”

There are very few things Jennifer loves more than pop pops and g-mas.  Laughter on Call is a beautiful way to combine this passion with her artistic talents and her desire to help make the world better and our lives happier.

Liz Glazer has been a standup comedian for 6 years. Before that, she was a tenured law professor, a job she was very funny at. Liz recently recorded a set for OutTV, was a part of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, recently won set of the night at the Hollywood Improv mic, and opens frequently for Myq Kaplan. Liz is thrilled to be a part of Laughter on Call and hopes to entertain all audiences with her personal and animated comedy.

Paul Schlesinger is a comedian and musician living in Los Angeles. He has performed comedy in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, Pickathon, San Francisco Sketchfest and two times at a fast-food restaurant called Burgerville. His work with Laughter on Call has been an eye-opening glimpse into healing and transformative power of laughter. This work has been an amazing gift and he looks forward to sharing more laughs!

Wendy Hopkins is a Second City Alumni and a Canadian Comedy Award nominee. She started her career as an improviser and actress in Toronto, toured her one-person shows throughout Canada, the US and Australia and eventually settled in Los Angeles where she began writing, directing and producing TV. Wendy co-created the award winning series, The Tournament (“a rarity to be treasured”, NYT), was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for her original pilot, FANCY, directed the Emmy award-winning series Corner Gas (CTV), The Tournament (CBC), G-Spot (Showcase). She lives in Los Angeles where she’s working on a new pilot and a play.

Ryan Rummel is a Jersey City based comedian. Voted number 1 Comic to bird watch with by NewBeak Magazine (no longer in publication). He’s done some un-noteworthy festivals. Along with Jersey City Comedy Festival, 6th Burrow comedy festival and Portland Maine comedy festival. Wait those are the un-noteworthy ones.

My name is Lissa Sears, I’m a breast cancer survivor living with MS that realized I’m actually a comedian & actor. I started doing comedy 4 years ago, was recently on an episode of Baskets on FX/HULU, I have my own line of CBD line CBD4aCause, I have a podcast/videocast called The Gays Of Our Lives, there’s a documentary being done about me called Stand up Fall Down Comedy & I just won The Indy Star’s readers choice award for Indianapolis’ Best Comedian! I also just got my first keynote speaker gig which is more of what I want to do because I can help so many more people!

Marcie Rogo works in tech marketing in San Francisco. In 2014, co-founded Stitch.net, the largest online community connecting adults over 50 for companionship and ConnectAround, the first “Facebook” for retirement communities.

Marcie has been doing standup comedy in San Francisco for almost 4 years, performing all around the Bay Area, from small underground comedy shows to the world-famous Punchline. She is passionate about comedy for a cause, and started Hot Take Comedy with friends to raise money for human rights causes via laughter. She also runs one of SF’s most popular shows “Bring Your Own Dog” Comedy.

Aaron is a Chicago Comedian and Sketch Writer who loves to disarm crowds with cerebral spiels that are warmly indifferent to what is the expected or a “normal” comedy show.

Tucson, AZ

Ashley Tappan is a comic from NY who has travled and performed across the country. Her contagious energy, quick wit and strong stage presence brand her humor as her own. Tappan has studied at Second City Training Center in Chicago, IL and is currently “Tappan”  into the local Tucson, AZ comedy scene, spreading smiles like peanut butter!



Parkland, Florida

Ryan Buynak is a poet, a storyteller, a comedian, a teacher, and a wearer of overalls, but more importantly he is an advocate for how these things can be therapy for the restless human soul. He has published 10 books, but his true passion is guiding others to use writing and laughter as a means to find solace and fix frowns.



Portland, ME

Ian Stuart is a comedian, writer and producer from Portland, Maine. Ian is the founder of the Portland Maine Comedy Festival and The Maine Comedy All Stars.

Oscar is an accomplished performer/writer/teacher. He is a multiple Moth StorySLAM winner and has hosted shows across the country at venues like the House of Blues, Caesar’s Palace, Disneyland, the Rose Bowl, and more. Oscar has also been featured in the L.A. Times, on the BBC, SoulPankcake, TruTv, and Buzzfeed. He has produced and hosted a variety of stand-up/storytelling shows including Tales from Tinseltown, The Morning After, Muse Lit Salon, DIRT (at UCB), and Tattletales. Oscar is always involved in a variety of projects, including (his most important) raising his #4kidsandadog with his beautiful wife. His greatest accomplishment was purchasing a 1978 Skylark with stories of adventure.

Marjan is originally from Chicago, IL and you may have seen her perform stand up at the Laugh Factory or Comedy Store. After her grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s she found that humor and moments of laughter always made him feel most like himself again. Having done neuroscience research studying brain plasticity as an undergrad at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, she saw firsthand with Dani at Laughter on Call that laughter is one of the best forms of medicine and lifestyle interventions for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. She is passionate about research, medicine, and how laughter plays a big part of our health. As she works towards her dream of becoming a physician, she loves sharing how laughter keeps your brain healthy, and she couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Laughter on Call team!

Stephanie Wobensmith is an improviser and performer based in the Philadelphia area.  They fell in love with the mindfulness and creativity that improv comedy inspires and haven’t stopped playing since.  They have improvised with Philly Improv Theater (PHIT), LCR Improv, THEY Improv, and the wonderful community at Philly’s Improv Incubator.  From murder mystery parties to drag king performances and everything in between, Stephanie aims to inspire laughter through showcasing the unexpected and building connections with their audience.  They are excited to bring that same energy to their work with Laughter on Call.

Just like her instagram name, Amanda does it all! She is an actor, comic, sketch performer, wife, and dog mom to Harry and Tsunami. Amanda also competes in the sport of bodybuilding, so likes to lift heavy things. She has appeared in numerous network TV shows, films, and commercials. She recently performed at the Burbank Comedy Festival. Amanda feels called by Laughter On Call’s mission as her grandma had dementia for many years before her passing. LOC brings Amanda’s love for people and laughter together in the most perfect way!

Marla Black is an L.A. based writer/performer from Canada. Before attending the Professional Program in Screenwriting & TV Writing at UCLA, she studied in New York at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Marla has appeared on screen in CBS’s Seal Team and on stage at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. You can currently catch her in her new award winning solo show “Raised By Wolves” about growing up with a dog sled team (It’s true, she really grew up with a dog sled team, she’s an awful Canadian stereotype). When she’s not on stage or writing, Marla can be found putting costumes on her cat and calling it a short film.

Isaac (aka Doc) Farm was born and raised in the rural town of Nahunta Ga,right next to Okefenokee swamp (alligators and all). Always the class clown in school he would later hone his talents and wit during his stint in the Air Force where he was introduced to the comedy stage.  He has not left. Known as an entertainer for his diverse background and skills he delivers a show filled with dancing, singing, and all out laughter.  As a comedian he was crowned the Funniest Man in Phoenix which led to a trip to Comic Relief. Later he hosted the radio show “Male Prospective” He has appeared at the world famous Apollo as well as a reoccurring appearance on Don’t forget the Lyrics. He travels across the country performing at schools, churches, and comedy clubs delivering the best medicine to fans looking for that something to brighten the day.

Bridgette is an Insurance Agent of 16 years, by day and one of Ohio’s funniest Comedians, “B-Hard” by night.  B-Hard began her Comedy Career in 2002.  B-Hard has performed at the Cleveland Improv Comedy Club, Hilarities Comedy Club, The Robins Nest, Columbus, Ohio’s own Lincoln Theatre and the Columbus Funny Bone Comedy Club to name a few.  Other events include The American Stroke Association Benefit, the Columbus Housing Network Benefit for the Battered Women’s Shelter, Black History Program for Marion Correctional Institution and London Correctional Institution and Annual Veteran’s Day Give Back.  In 2005 B-Hard was named One of Ohio’s Funniest.  In 2006 B-Hard placed 2nd in a Radio One WZAK 93.1 FM Comedy contest and named Semi-finalist in the Nick @ Nite Funniest Mom search.  In 2007 B-Hard was named 2nd place winner in a Funny Bone Comedy Club Competition. In 2009 B-Hard started the monthly Laff Your Face Off Comedy Tour. In 2017 B-Hard started the Two Funny Tuesdays in Columbus OH. In 2019 she also started the Friday Night Comedy Throwback. She is the 2013 Ohio Urban Comedy Award Female Comedian of the Year Columbus OH, and 2013 Ohio Urban Comedy Award Top Female Promoter of the Year. B-Hard has opened for several comedians such as TK Kirkland, Luenell, AJ Johnson, Nikki Carr and Joe Clair.

Hannah Rothblatt is a Digital Producer at Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and a comedy writer for Maude night at the Upright Citizens Brigade!  Hannah loves to work so she also produces the Ladies Get Paid podcast. You can see her sketches performed live every third Monday of the month with Maude team The New York Cheeks at UCB in New York City. Dr. Belinda Chiu believes in the power of play to bring authenticity and compassion for a happier planet. She is on the forefront of the movement to democratize emotional intelligence and merges research and scholarship for resilient and impactful leadership. With a background in international education and diplomacy, she is the founder of Hummingbirdrcc and collaborates with organizations such as Ignition Coaching LLC, Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, and Goleman El. She is author of the book The Mindful College Applicant: Cultivating Emotional Intelligence for the Admissions Process, and contributor on Thrive Global. A member of Valley Improv, Belinda currently lives in Hanover, New Hampshire with Bandit, the pink-nosed pup.

Olivia Saperstein is a self-proclaimed Jill-of-all-trades. While playing lead guitar in LA punk band Egg Drop Soup by night, she cultivates the magic of social media wizardry during the day. She is thrilled to be managing the socials for Laughter On Call, as she has a mother who suffers from dementia. Olivia also has a clothing line and loves to write/direct for the screen.

Cathy Ladman is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor. She’s done The Tonight Show many times, The Late Late Show, and several other talk shows. She has appeared as an actor on TV (Modern Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Men, etc.) and in films (What Planet Are you From?, White Oleander, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, etc.)

Jackie Monahan is a comedian and writer. She has been working for Laughter On Call a little less than a year. I was lucky enough to catch up with her between her time with Carmen, who she makes laugh between 10-12 hours a week, and the rest of her jam-packed writer/performer schedule.
