A Brief Backstory
Laughter On Call was founded by comedian and facilitator Dani Klein, who began using improv techniques to connect with people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. That early work revealed something powerful: when people feel safe, seen, and supported, connection happens quickly and authentically.
That insight became the foundation for Laughter On Call’s approach today. We now work with hundreds of organizations across industries, bringing the same empathy, intentionality, and care into workplace settings.

Why Improv Works at Work
Improv is built on listening, responding, and supporting others in real time. Those same skills are essential for strong teams.
Research shows that laughter reduces stress, increases psychological safety, and strengthens social bonds. When teams laugh together, barriers come down, communication feels easier, and people show up more fully.
You do not need to be funny to benefit. That is our job. Our facilitators guide teams into experiences where connection happens naturally and participation feels safe for every personality type.
