International Moment of Laughter Day!

Some holidays feel like they are designed to make me roll my eyes - National Beer Day (missed it! April 7), National Flash Drive Day (went by in flash - ba dum bum - April 5) and one there’s still time to honor, National WAGYU Day - June 21st! PHEW! I understand, picking a special day to recognize something is a positive marketing tool. I likely wouldn’t have thought to eat the most expensive meat in the world in June without a calendar nudge.

Then again, in full “people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” form, I am delighted to honor International Moment of Laughter Day this Sunday April 14th!

According to its progenitors, here’s the proper way to celebrate it. “Let your inner child come out and laugh away all your worries. You can laugh out loud or giggle, in fact, **you can do whatever you want but make sure you’re laughing at the same time**. This day reminds us to look beyond our anxious lives and find something that puts a big smile on our faces.”
