Quiz: Do You Have a Sense of Humor About Yourself?

April 9, 2026

I understand that this might not be top of mind right now, what with the leader of the free world threatening to blow up civilizations. Nevertheless, here’s a fun diversion that might actually yield an insight or two! Think of it as a mildly scientific, yet surprisingly informative self-assessment.

Scoring

Mostly A’s:
Five stars for sense of humor and confidence. You’re comfortable, self-aware, and should probably go into politics.

Mostly B’s:
You’ve got a healthy, functional sense of humor. You can laugh at yourself, but not everything is funny. Excellent disposition for teaching K-12!

Mostly C’s:
You’re humor-adjacent. You appreciate laughing, but not interested in being the butt of a joke. No if’s, and’s or butt’s! Something you might laugh at after 3 beers if said by someone you think is hot.

Mostly D’s:
You may have some anger issues. You are not alone! And it doesn’t have to be a life sentence. Unlike diamonds, anger is not forever (Bond reference). Start small. Little known fact, even if you are faking laughing, you will eventually really laugh. Here’s a link to the guy who can help you.
